How to Achieve ROI from Implementing AI is the final event to be released as part of a week-long programme for Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2025 (LIF25).
LIF25 launches at the National Space Centre on Monday 31 March with a funded event for SMEs looking at the potential of digital innovation for small businesses.
Steve Barradell and Guy Boyle, directors of Loughborough-based Institute, will present on Breaking the Spell: AI+ Innovation for SMEs, a no-nonsense critical discussion on emerging digital tech and its implications for small business.
There will also be breakfast, networking, and a welcome from the Business Gateway Growth Hub, which leads the Innovation Festival.
Guy Boyle said: “There’s a lot of tactical noise about AI currently out there but very little of the big picture stuff.
“We’re interested in increasing knowledge among SMEs so they can ask better questions of those selling them current digital solutions.”
Steve and Guy will also reveal details of Phase 2 of Institute’s AI+ innovation for business course.
The funded 12-week course for SMEs returns later this year in partnership with Loughborough College.
The launch event of LIF25 runs from 8:30am to 12:30pm on Monday 31 March at the National Space Centre in Leicester. There are a handful of places remaining, with business invited to register now.
The 7th Leicestershire Innovation Festival runs from March 31 to April 4.
