Partner Paula Dumbill told Innovative Leicestershire why the firm is sponsoring Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2024.

Why is innovation important to your organisation?

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do.

We are invested in the lives and businesses of our clients and we work alongside them as they strive for performance improvements and product and process excellence.

Innovation is important to our clients and so innovation is important to us.

Innovation is not only about the big changes – it’s also about the small changes that, together, can have a big impact.

Our people’s enthusiasm for our clients’ success fuels our drive to go above and beyond, making those changes and seeking out innovative solutions - finding new ways to add value.

How does your organisation encourage innovation?

Innovation is embedded in our culture.

While we foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, we also give our people the freedom to make individual decisions and to make a difference, creating a climate where innovative ideas can flourish within a supportive environment.

We strive to give innovative and creative solutions to our clients that will allow them to harness new opportunities.

We also embrace new ideas and technology to continuously improve and evolve the service we provide.

The theme of the festival is ‘Small Change, Big Impact’ - can you provide any examples of this in your organisation?

We have recently refreshed our brand – a project in which a series of seemingly small changes has led to a big impact.

We recognised that our visual identity and messaging needed to be updated to better reflect our culture, values, and the evolving needs of our clients.

The refreshed brand and our “Life More Sure” campaign has helped us to better communicate our client-centric approach and alignment with our clients’ needs.

By clarifying our identity and creating a more cohesive look and feel, we have strengthened our brand recognition and differentiation in the market.

Internally, the refresh has had a positive impact by instilling a sense of pride and ownership of the brand, reinforcing our employees’ dedication to delivering exceptional service and value to our clients.
